TV serials are becoming increasingly popular as a medium of entertainment mostly through online streaming services such as Netflix, Hulu, etc. They have become much more popular among the Bangladeshi people in recent years. In this extended abstract, we explore how social media users in Bangladesh are reacting to the various types of foreign TV serials that are available to watch in the region. We used a Facebook group as our data source, which currently has over fifty thousand active members who are sharing their ratings and reviews of various serials. We used Natural Language Processing (NLP) to analyze Facebook posts and some visualizations to find the sentiments and countries of origin for these serials.
